Submit online application for the Assam Higher Secondary First Year or Class XI Admission into the various institutes of Assam through DARPAN Portal.
HS 1st Year Admission 2025 :
On 12th April 2025, the Assam State School Education Board (Division II) has published an official notification regarding the admission into the Higher Secondary First Year or Class XI in the various educational institutes of Assam under the ASSEB. The students who have recently passed the HSLC or Matriculation Examination can submit their online applications for the admission through ‘DARPAN’ portal within the last date of application. Using the Darpan Portal, students can take admissions digitally without visiting the institutions.

Admission Fee: Last year, the admission fee for the Higher Secondary First Year was waived by the Government of Assam. All students were able to get admission to government-recognized institutions at zero fees. We are expecting the same type of fee structure for this year, but as of now, there is no official notification published.

How to Apply for HS 1st-Year Admission

| Click on the Admission Form link. |
| A portal will load, click on the Register a New Account link. |
| On the next one, you need to choose the college, course type and other details you want. |
| Upload scan copy of the photograph, marksheet and other necessary documents. |
| After filling in and verifying all the details, you have to click on the submit button. |
| After applying, keep the system-generated acknowledgement for future use. |
| Check the portal regularly for updates. You will be informed through the portal which institute (s) you have been selected for admission. |

- Disability Certificate (If Applicable)
- TGL or Ex-TGL Certificate (If Applicable)
- Gap Certificate (If Applicable)

| Click on the Admission Form link. |
| Login using your Mobile Number, Date of Birth and 4-Digit PIN. |
| Click on the Profile option on the left. |
| Now, all your registration details will be loaded. |
| Click on the red Edit Profile option. |
| Refill all the correct details of the registration form including photograph and marksheet. |
| After that submit that form by clicking on RESUBMIT PROFILE button. |
| That’s it, your profile has been successfully corrected. |

How to Check Admission Merit List ?
| Scroll down, and check the Important Link section. |
| Click on the Check Merit List link. |
| A portal will load, enter your Mobile Number, Date of Birth and Security PIN and click Login. |
| After that, a dashboard will load. Click on the Application Submitted button. |
| Now, you will see the names of all your applied colleges/ schools. |
| Check below the name of the college/school, you will get the details about your admission request. |
| If you are selected, click on the Accept Admission Request link and accept your admission into the desired college/ school. |
