Only Indian Citizens who are permanent residents of Assam and have passed either the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) are eligible to apply for these vacancies through online mode.

- Possess a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

(ii) Assistant Teacher (UP) Qualification:

- Should hold a degree from a UGC-recognized University.
- Possess a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Elementary Education.
- Must have cleared Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.
(iii) Science Teacher (UP) Qualification:
- Must have completed Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
- Should hold a B.Sc. degree from a UGC-recognized University.
- Possess a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Elementary Education.
- Must have cleared Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.
(iv) Hindi Teacher Qualification:
