On 1st February 2025, the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) released an official notification for the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2025, which is conducted for admission to the B.Tech. program in various engineering colleges across Assam.
On the 27th of December 2024, a new official notification was released stating that the online application process for Grade-III (Non-Technical) positions has resumed. The number of vacancies has been increased from 320 to 765. Please keep in mind that the listed vacancies are subject to change during the final selection process. Previous applicants do not need to submit a new application as their existing applications will be considered under this updated notification.

Assam CEE Exam ASTU Details 2025
On 1st February 2025, the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) released an official notification for the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2025, which is conducted for admission to the B.Tech. program in various engineering colleges across Assam.
Candidates who are permanent residents of Assam and meet the eligibility criteria specified in the official notification can submit their online applications through the official website before the last date of application

Exam Syllabus: The CEE-2025 will be conducted as per the syllabus of Assam State School Education Board, Division –II (Higher Secondary Division).
Total Questions: 120 MCQs
Negative Marking: For every correct answer, 4 (four) marks will be awarded and 1 (one) mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. In case, the candidate has selected more than one answer, it will be considered as wrong answer.
Application Fee: The application fee for the Assam CEE Exam is ₹1,350. The payment must be made through the official web portal using the available online payment methods. The fee once paid, is not refundable.

How to Apply for the Assam CEE Exam?
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as per the official notification must visit the official web portal to submit their applications. Initially, candidates need to click on the “Register Now” button and provide basic details such as name, mobile number, email, and password to create an account.
After successful registration, they must log in and fill in the required information, including personal, educational, and communication details. Next, candidates need to upload the necessary documents, including a recent passport-size photograph and signature, in the prescribed format. Once all the details are filled in, candidates must proceed to pay the application fee using the available online payment methods. After successful payment, the application will be submitted, and an acknowledgement copy will be provided for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must pass the Qualifying Examination (10+2 standard) in a single sitting without any grace marks in the mandatory relevant subjects/courses at the 10+2 level. They must also pass both the theory and practical components individually.
Nationality: The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam.
